Dead Fresh Sunglasses was founded by Andrew Cronin during his time in college. While studying business management he learned that the sunglasses market is almost completely controlled by one company, Luxottica, they manufacture and distribute nearly 80% of the market and control the high prices you see in many eye-wear retailers. This gave Andrew the idea of manufacturing and selling his own high end sunglasses at half and even a third of the price of the larger eye-wear brands you see in store. He achieves this by dealing directly with several manufacturers and cutting out any middle men who would normally need to make a percentage. The overall outcome is a quality product at a much more attractive price for his customers. A WIN WIN in our eyes!
To stand out from the crowd, Andrew decided to implement a design feature he saw used before in other countries, wood. By marrying wood with the high grade acetate you are left with a beautiful piece of fashion eye-wear.
All of the sunglasses Dead Fresh produces come standard with fully polarized lenses, UV/400 protection, stainless steel spring loaded hinges, microfiber wipe and a foldable case.
