Grown stall at the Dublin Flea Christmas MarketGROWN is an ethical clothing brand

GROWN draw a lot of their inspiration from Ireland’s coastline, they have a desire to do things differently, with a passion for sustainability and a pride in transparency. They are proud to engage people to change their mind set about the environment by using collective thinking to surpass fast fashion and ocean plastics.

GROWN was launched in summer of 2016, from the start they didn’t want it to be just another clothing brand but to be more of a challenger brand. A brand that challenges people to create change, A brand they trust in, who shares similar values. They believe the power to create change is in the hands of the consumer, so its down to the creative’s and brands of the world to inform the public of options on how to stop fast fashion and how to protect our planet from ocean plastics.

As consumers we vote with out pockets, so if we continue to buy unethical and unsustainable products we are telling the big companies that its OK to continue abusing its workers and the planet.

As a start up they focus on eco innovation. They create a service and changing existing services to show respect for the environment and to be competitive. GROWN only used 100% organic materials , earth positive, climate neutral t-shirt, manufactured solely using renewable green energy from wind and solar power. All employees are given a fare wage and each piece is traceable from seed to garment. They have a clear concept of how we wish to be seen and perceived. GROWN is more than just a business name. As a business they have an instinct for growth..GROWN believes there profits will come from passion, from Like minded people with an understanding of global impacts on the environment that we are all responsible for. GROWN believe clothes shouldn’t cost the earth.

At GROWN, we believe we have an environment that deserves our respect, so we work with a goal to make it better. As such, we run a tree4tee campaign where one indigenous Irish tree will be planted for each piece we create. To date they have planted over 700 trees. We are excited to be launching “buy a tree for me” “ Buy a tree not a tee “ an opportunity for people to gift a tree this xmas. We understand the pressure people are under to buy gifts so we’d like to make it a little easier. We want to reduce single use gifting and replace it with a life time gift that benefits everyone.
