Clare Henderson and James Kirwan met in art college over 10 years ago and have been painting and making prints in Dublin and abroad ever since.
Kirwan makes bold and bright paintings with a good dollop of magic realism and when he’s not doing that he’s working on large scale painting commissions on buildings and walls.
Henderson is a print junkie and works on her otherworldly etchings, woodcuts and screenprints when she’s not teaching printmaking to children and adults alike.
They both like to tell their strange stories through their snapshot-like images and they also like poetry, tea and egg sandwiches.
