Vintage Pyrex kitchenware, with its colourful mid-century designs, is becoming more and more collectable. The myriad variations of colour, shape and decoration mean that there is something to appeal to everyone.
The iconic white glass is recognised the world over and is always associated with the Pyrex brand. This type of pure white glass was discontinued in the mid 1970’s, and ultimately gave way to the clear glass of modern Pyrex which is available today. Pure Pyrex specialise in the period between 1957 and 1975 that produced such unique patterns for the UK and Irish market. Look for the JAJ logo on all of our items to ensure authenticity.
Pure Pyrex has a wide range of vintage JAJ Pyrex. We have a huge selection of shapes, sizes and patterns, including mixing bowls, casseroles, full dinner sets, warming stands, coffee pots, and cup & saucer sets.
Pyrex isn’t only for the kitchen. At Pure Pyrex, we think the colours, shapes and patterns of vintage era JAJ Pyrex are too good to be kept in a cupboard when not in use, so we also repurpose our glass in ways that complement its beauty and functionality. A Pyrex bowl, or casserole dish, is perfect for plants. We have a range of succulents, ferns, palms and cacti: all in the quirky, colourful vintage Pyrex patterned dishes.
We also use our Pyrex for candles. Pure Pyrex make all our own candles from sustainable and eco-friendly soy wax, and chose attractive Pure Pyrex cups, sugar bowls and milk jugs as perfect containers for candles. We love how the white glass is highlighted as the candles glow and also how they can be returned to their original purpose after the candles have been enjoyed.
We hope you will enjoy the vintage glass that is Pure Pyrex.
