Lay of the Land

Lay of the Land is a site responsive Art Project by Kari Cahill + Hazel Mc Cague.

Though a series of projects Lay of the Land aims to drive the experience of art outwards into the landscape and to facilitate artistic responses to these experiences.

The project’s success depends on individuals and organisations dedicated to unique and progressive artistic endeavours. The project is currently enabled by crowd sourced funding, local businesses, and supporters of the arts throughout Ireland.

For the coming year Lay of the Land hopes to facilitate and support a range of artists to create site responsive pieces throughout the Irish Landscape.
